  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Balances the sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup water Helps dissolve the sugars.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor and aroma.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, and water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the pecans to the saucepan and stir well to coat them with the glaze.
  • Transfer the glazed pecans to your air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry the pecans for approximately 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Remove the pecans and spread them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool completely.

Notes

These pecans are versatile and can be served on their own, or added to salads, oatmeal, or ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week.
