  • 1/4 cup butter, softened Rich and creamy texture.
  • 1 large egg, beaten Binds the ingredients.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients: Cheddar cheese, flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • Add the softened butter and mix until well combined.
  • Pour in the beaten egg and mix until a dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Cut the dough into strips, about 1/2 inch wide.
  • Arrange the strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, checking for golden brown perfection.
  • Allow to cool slightly and enjoy!

Notes

For perfect results, watch them closely during the last few minutes. Lightly spraying with non-stick spray before cooking can add extra crunch. Try different cheeses like Gouda or Pepper Jack for variety. Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
