  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Adds a melty texture and savory flavor.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Gives a delicious salty bite.
  • 1/4 cup almond flour Helps bind the fritters together while keeping them gluten-free.
  • 1 large egg Acts as the binder to keep the fritters from falling apart.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder Adds a comforting aroma.
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika Optional, adds warmth and color.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste Essential for enhancing flavor.
  • Cooking spray Needed for a crisp texture.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Steam your cauliflower florets until tender but not mushy. Let them cool a bit, then chop finely.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine chopped cauliflower, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, and the egg. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until it forms a sticky dough.
  • Scoop small portions of the mixture and form into patties or fritters.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place fritters in a single layer, leaving space between them. Lightly spray the tops of the fritters as well.
  • Cook for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Let them cool for a minute, then serve warm. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra crispy fritters, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Try adding diced green onions or herbs for extra flavor. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. To reheat, place back in the air fryer for about 5 minutes.
