Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel.
  • Rub the spice blend all over the chicken thighs, ensuring to get under the skin.
  • Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook for 25-30 minutes, checking for a golden color and an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, ensure chicken skin is dry before seasoning. You may refrigerate uncovered for an hour prior to cooking. Serving suggestions include roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh green salad.
