  • 4 pieces chicken thighs Bone-in or boneless, skin-on preferred for crispiness
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  • Coat the chicken thighs with the seasoning mixture evenly.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels before seasoning. Try letting the chicken marinate in the seasoning for at least 30 minutes or overnight for more flavor. If using larger chicken thighs, adjust the cooking time slightly.
