  • 3 pieces egg whites Helps create the fluffy texture.
  • 1/4 cup sugar Adds just the right amount of sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup flour Provides structure without making it too dense.
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder Helps the cake rise.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds a lovely aroma and flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances the sweetness and balances flavors.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites using a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add the sugar, a little at a time, while continuing to beat the egg whites. Keep beating until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt using a spatula. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Grease a small baking dish that fits inside your air fryer basket.

Cooking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and place it in the air fryer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the cake is set and lightly golden on top.

Serving

  • Let the cake cool for a few minutes before removing it from the dish. Dust with powdered sugar or serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes

Tips: Don't skip beating the egg whites to stiff peaks! Be careful not to overmix when folding in dry ingredients. Check for doneness at 15 minutes as air fryers may vary.
