For the Shrimp

  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For enhanced flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For enhanced flavor
  • To taste Salt and pepper
  • For the air fryer Cooking spray or oil To achieve golden-brown color

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Create a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dredge each shrimp in flour, then dip it in the egg mixture, followed by the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring full coverage.
  • Gently place the coated shrimp in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Lightly spray the shrimp with cooking spray before cooking.

Cooking

  • Cook the shrimp in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden brown.
  • Remove the shrimp and let them rest for a few minutes to lock in moisture.

Serving

  • Serve the shrimp with your favorite dipping sauce, such as a zesty lemon aioli or classic cocktail sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days, and reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 3-5 minutes.
