Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb cubed steak - Use sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip for the best tenderness.
  • 2 cups halved baby potatoes - These get crispy on the outside and soft inside.
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter - Adds a rich, savory flavor.
  • Salt & pepper to taste - Classic seasoning for balance.
  • Fresh herbs (optional) - Parsley, thyme, or rosemary for garnish.

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 pinch paprika For extra flavor.
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes For a bit of heat.
  • squeeze of lemon For freshness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat while you prep the ingredients.
  • In a large mixing bowl, toss the cubed steak and baby potatoes with garlic butter, salt, and pepper. Make sure everything is evenly coated for the best flavor.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned steak bites in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • When you reach the last few minutes of cooking, toss in the potatoes and let them crisp up while the steak finishes cooking.

Serving

  • Once everything is cooked to your liking, remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh herbs, and enjoy your delicious garlic butter steak and potatoes!

Notes

For best results, cut steak evenly, shake the basket to help everything cook evenly, avoid overcrowding in the air fryer, and let the steak rest for 2 minutes before serving.
