  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces Choose a good-quality steak for the best flavor.
  • 2 cups baby potatoes, halved Cut the potatoes into similar sizes for even cooking.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your taste!
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Sprinkle some extra chopped parsley on top for a burst of color and flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, toss the steak bites and halved potatoes with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the steak bites and potatoes, and toss to coat.

Cooking

  • Place the steak bites and potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for about 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the potatoes are tender.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let them cool completely before placing them in an airtight container. Store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain the crispy texture. You can make this recipe using chicken or shrimp instead of steak. Adjust cooking time accordingly.
