Ingredients
  

For the marinade

  • 1/4 cup olive oil Extra virgin is recommended for best flavor.
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed lemon juice is preferred.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey Can be substituted with maple syrup.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For the wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings Patted dry for crispiness.
  • 1 whole lemon Sliced for air frying.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the marinade.

Cooking

  • Arrange the chicken wings and lemon slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 20 minutes, then flip the wings and continue cooking for another 10-15 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let the wings rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer.
