  • 1 tablespoon onion powder Adds sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Essential for flavor enhancement.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Adds a hint of heat.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Use your favorite type.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Remove the membrane from the ribs using a paper towel for grip.
  • Rinse the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

Seasoning

  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture all over the ribs evenly.

Cooking

  • Place seasoned ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cutting them if necessary.
  • Cook the ribs for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • In the last 5 minutes, brush BBQ sauce over the ribs.
  • Once done, remove the ribs and let them rest for a few minutes.

Notes

For crispier ribs, let them sit uncovered in the fridge before cooking. Experiment with different spices and sauces for variety. Always monitor the cooking time as it can vary by air fryer model.
