Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat your scallops dry with paper towels to prevent steaming.
  • Season the scallops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Drizzle olive oil over seasoned scallops and toss to coat lightly.

Cooking

  • Place scallops in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check for doneness; they should be opaque and golden.

Serving

  • Serve the scallops with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Make sure scallops are dry before seasoning for a better sear. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking.
