  • 1 pound scallops Pat dry before seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Used for coating
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • Lemon wedges For serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and place them in a bowl.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until well coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Cooking

  • Place the scallops in the air fryer in a single layer and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Serving

  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Make sure to dry the scallops thoroughly before seasoning. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Keep an eye on them while cooking, as scallops can cook quickly and might overcook if left too long. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
