Preparation

  • Take the steaks out of the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking to help them cook more evenly.
  • Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel.

Applying the Dry Rub

  • Generously rub the dry rub on both sides of the steaks, ensuring to cover every inch.
  • Let them sit for about 25–30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Cooking

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • For rare steaks, cook for about 7 minutes without turning.
  • For medium, aim for about 9 minutes.
  • For medium-well, cook for around 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Resting

  • Once cooked to your liking, let the steaks rest for 5–7 minutes.

Serving

  • Slice the steaks and serve to enjoy every juicy bite.

Notes

Allowing the steaks to rest is crucial to retain juiciness. You can experiment with fresh herbs for added flavor. Always preheat the Air Fryer before cooking.
