For the Dry Rub

  • 1 tablespoon Salt To taste, or adjust based on preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder For extra flavor; feel free to customize.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat your steaks dry with paper towels.
  • Generously apply the dry rub on both sides of the steaks.
  • Let the steaks rest for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Cooking

  • Place the steaks in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Cook for 7 minutes for rare, 9 minutes for medium, or 12 minutes for medium-well, flipping halfway.
  • Check for doneness using a meat thermometer.
  • Let the steaks rest for 5 to 7 minutes before slicing.

Serving

  • Slice the steaks against the grain and serve.

Notes

For a crispier crust, apply a light layer of oil before the dry rub. Adjust cooking times for thicker cuts.
