  • 1 pound sirloin steak You can choose your favorite cut, but sirloin is recommended for tenderness.
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets Fresh broccoli brings out a vibrant color and crunch.
  • 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil To keep everything moist.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt To enhance flavors.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Ground for subtle heat.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the sirloin steak into strips against the grain and season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  • Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  • Toss the broccoli with olive oil and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.

Cooking

  • Combine the seasoned steak and broccoli in the air fryer basket.
  • Drizzle teriyaki sauce over the steak and broccoli.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check the steak for doneness after 10-15 minutes. Adjust cooking time as needed.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Serving

  • Serve immediately with a side of rice or quinoa to soak up extra teriyaki sauce.

Notes

To elevate flavors, sprinkle sesame seeds before serving. Leftovers can be stored for up to three days in an airtight container.
