Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice Make sure it's cold before using.
  • 1/2 lb andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Can use raw shrimp, cook until opaque.
  • 1/2 lb crawfish tails Use fresh if available, otherwise frozen.
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce For added flavor, consider Worcestershire sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: hot sauce to taste Add for extra heat.

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  • Stir in andouille sausage and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Add shrimp and crawfish; cook until shrimp are opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat before serving. You can customize with additional vegetables like peas or carrots.
