Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ground nutmeg Freshly grated nutmeg adds extra warmth.
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Apple cider Use fresh apple cider for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray and line with parchment paper if desired.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour in the apple cider and vanilla extract, then mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt.
  • Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serving

  • Once cooled, slice the bread. Optionally dust with powdered sugar or spread with butter before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Wrap individual slices in plastic and freeze for later use.
