  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 strips bacon Use thick-cut for better texture and flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice each chicken breast into 4 long strips.
  • In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Toss the chicken strips until well-coated.
  • Wrap each chicken strip in a slice of bacon and place them in a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle any remaining brown sugar over the top.

Cooking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

These tenders can be paired with mashed potatoes, salad, or roasted vegetables. They store well in the fridge for 3 days, and can also be frozen for up to 2 months. To reheat, place in the oven or microwave.
