  • 2 cups cooked white rice You can use pre-cooked rice to save time.
  • 1 lbs ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey for a healthier option.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled Feel free to add more bacon for extra flavor.
  • Optional: chopped pickles or green onions for garnish Great for adding a fresh crunch.

Cooking the Beef

  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain the excess fat.

Assembling the Bowl

  • Divide the cooked rice between serving bowls.
  • Spoon the cooked beef over the rice.
  • Sprinkle with diced tomato and cover with shredded cheddar cheese.

Final Steps

  • Microwave the bowls for 30 seconds or until the cheese melts, or broil briefly.
  • Finish with crumbled bacon and any optional toppings. Serve hot!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave before serving. For added flavor, consider mixing in sautéed mushrooms or grilled onions. If you like spicy food, add jalapeños on top.
