  • 1 pound Fresh green beans About 1 pound, washed and trimmed.
  • 10-12 slices Bacon slices Thin-cut bacon recommended for crispier texture.
  • Olive oil Optional, can be drizzled on top before baking.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash and trim the ends of the green beans.
  • Take a few green beans (about 5-6) and wrap them with a slice of bacon.
  • Place the wrapped green beans on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle with olive oil if desired.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Best served warm; garnish with cracked black pepper or grated Parmesan cheese. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
