  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Using cooked chicken saves time and gives a nice texture. If you have leftovers from a roast, that works beautifully!
  • 1 cup ham, diced Diced ham adds savory flavor and pairs wonderfully with the chicken.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Cheddar gives it a sharp flavor, while mozzarella adds that melty goodness!
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8 rolls) Crescent rolls are super easy to work with and give a lovely flaky texture.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Mayonnaise adds creaminess; substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier twist.
  • 1 tbsp mustard Adds a zingy kick to the flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Always season to your liking.
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional) Brushing the tops with melted butter gives a wonderful golden finish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, diced ham, shredded cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and carefully separate the triangles.
  • Grab a spoonful of the chicken mixture and place it at the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end, and pinch the edges to seal.
  • Arrange the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Optional: brush the tops with melted butter.

Baking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For perfect results, don't overcrowd the baking sheet and consider adding garlic powder or fresh herbs for extra flavor. Pair with a simple side salad or ranch dip for a delightful meal!
