Ingredients
  

Slider Base

  • 2 packages 12 count each Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 lb thinly sliced black forest ham
  • 1 lb thinly sliced Swiss cheese

Optional Mayonnaise

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Optional

Butter Sauce

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp dried minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 - 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9x13” pan with foil, lightly spraying it with cooking spray.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally while keeping them connected.
  • Place the bottom section of the rolls in the pan and spread the mayonnaise on top if using.
  • Layer the ham and Swiss cheese over the mayonnaise, then place the top section of rolls on.

Butter Sauce Preparation

  • Melt the butter in a bowl, then mix in the honey, Dijon mustard, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the sliders, making sure to cover them evenly.

Baking

  • Cover the pan with aluminum foil and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
  • Slice into individual sliders and serve hot or warm.

Notes

Serve hot out of the oven for best flavor and texture. Pair with pickles, chips, or a fresh salad. Offer dipping sauces for added fun. Adjust toppings and fillings based on preferences.
