  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or thawed frozen shrimp
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise For creamy texture
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced Enhances flavor
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and freshness

Toast Base

  • 1 baguette sliced Crusty baguette recommended for crunch
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like mozzarella or cheddar) Choose your favorite cheese

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine shrimp, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and parsley.

Assembly

  • Spread the shrimp mixture on each baguette slice.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
  • Place the slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.

Cooking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until the shrimp is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Baked Shrimp Toast is best served warm right out of the oven. Cut into smaller pieces for easy snacking or as a party appetizer. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, warm in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
