Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Skewers

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes)

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha (or more for extra heat)

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix the cornstarch with salt and pepper.
  • Dip the chicken pieces into the beaten egg, then coat them in the cornstarch mixture, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  • Thread the coated chicken pieces onto the skewers.

Cooking

  • Grill or cook in the skillet until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.

Making the Sauce

  • For the Bang Bang Sauce, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a small bowl.
  • Serve the skewers warm with the Bang Bang Sauce on the side.

Notes

You can serve Bang Bang Chicken Skewers as an appetizer or a main dish. They pair well with rice, salad, or grilled vegetables. Don't forget to offer extra sauce on the side for dipping! Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat to maintain crispiness.
