Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Skewers

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes)

Preparation

  • Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix the cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip the chicken pieces in the cornstarch mixture, then in the beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Thread the chicken onto skewers.

Making the Bang Bang Sauce

  • Combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a bowl. Adjust spice levels as needed.

Cooking

  • Grill or bake the skewers until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve the skewers with the Bang Bang Sauce on the side.

Notes

Best served hot. Pair nicely with a fresh salad or steamed rice. Optional: drizzle extra Bang Bang Sauce on top for presentation.
