Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Skewers

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces Ensure even sizes for uniform cooking.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch Flour can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 large egg, beaten To coat the chicken.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • as needed skewers Soak in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha Adjust for spice preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix the cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each chicken piece into the beaten egg, then coat in the cornstarch mixture.
  • Roll the coated chicken pieces in breadcrumbs until fully covered.
  • Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers.

Making the Bang Bang Sauce

  • Mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a separate bowl.

Cooking

  • Grill or bake the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until fully cooked.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken skewers with the Bang Bang sauce for dipping.

Notes

Store cooked chicken skewers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave. Bang Bang sauce can be stored in the fridge for about a week.
