Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the drumsticks and coat them with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Arrange the drumsticks on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, and smoked paprika.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and generously brush with the BBQ glaze.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes until the glaze is sticky.

Serving

  • Let the drumsticks rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve hot, optionally drizzling with extra BBQ sauce.

Notes

For crispy skin, ensure chicken is dry before seasoning. Optionally, finish on a grill for a charred flavor.
