  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Adds umami flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Helps thicken the sauce.
  • 1 cup beef broth Enhances the dish's flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Essential for sautéing.

Cooking Steps

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Toss in onion, celery, carrots, mushrooms, snow peas, and water chestnuts. Stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
  • Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth in a separate bowl. Pour the mixture over the beef and veggies in the pan.
  • Cook everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Feel free to add any leftover vegetables for versatility. Pair with jasmine rice or noodles for a complete meal.
