  • 1 lb ground beef Use seasoned ground beef for extra flavor.
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups macaroni noodles
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to add more for a cheesier texture.

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat with chopped onions and minced garlic.
  • Cook until the beef is no longer pink and the onions are translucent.
  • Meanwhile, cook macaroni noodles according to package instructions, then drain.

Cooking

  • Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet along with the tomato sauce, paprika, and chili powder. Stir to combine and heat through.
  • Pour the beef and macaroni mixture into a baking dish, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Beefaroni can be served hot, straight from the oven. A side salad or garlic bread can complement the meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
