Big Mac Cheeseburger Bombs

Ingredients
  

For the beef mixture

  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for less grease.
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with other cheeses.
  • 1/2 cup pickles, chopped

For the bombs

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg beaten For egg wash.
  • Sesame seeds (optional) For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Remove from heat and stir in cheese and pickles until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on the wide end of each triangle and roll it up to form a bomb.
  • Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

Baking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving. To make vegetarian, substitute the ground beef with a plant-based alternative.
