- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 cups blueberries Fresh or frozen.
Glaze Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is best.
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon zest of one lemon
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the sugar, softened butter, and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla to the mixture, and beat until just incorporated.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually beat the flour mixture into the butter mixture until well incorporated.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, then let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
Glazing
- To make the glaze, mix the powdered sugar, lemon juice, milk, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies.
Notes
