Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • If using fresh blueberries, rinse them under cold water. If using frozen, you can add them directly to the blender.
  • Peel the banana and break it into chunks.
  • Add Greek yogurt to the blender.
  • Pour in the milk or almond milk.
  • Blend until smooth on a low speed, then gradually increase.
  • Taste and, if desired, adjust sweetness with honey or more banana.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish if desired.

Notes

Using ripe bananas provides the best sweetness. For a chilly smoothie, freeze the banana the night before. Greek yogurt is essential for creaminess. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container or frozen in ice cube trays for later use.
