  • 1 pound Pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For greasing the baking sheet or pizza stone

Toppings

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) For topping
  • 1 cup Cooked bacon or sausage (chopped) Ensure it's pre-cooked
  • 1 Bell pepper (chopped, optional)
  • 1/2 Onion (chopped, optional)
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or chives) For garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out your pizza dough to your desired thickness.
  • Brush a tablespoon of olive oil onto your baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Carefully place your rolled-out dough onto the prepared surface.
  • Sprinkle about half of the shredded cheese over the base of the dough.
  • Evenly sprinkle your chopped cooked bacon or sausage over the cheese layer.
  • Add the chopped bell peppers or onions on top.

Cooking

  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper, then pour this mixture evenly over the pizza.
  • Top with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Keep an eye on it after the 15-minute mark for perfect doneness.

Serving

  • Once baked, take the pizza out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Avoid soggy crust by pre-baking the dough for about 5 minutes before adding the toppings. You can customize toppings based on your family's preferences.
