  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds Toast for richer flavor if desired.
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries Can substitute with raisins or chopped apples.

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Can substitute with plain yogurt.
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, bacon, red onion, sliced almonds, and dried cranberries.
  • In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
  • Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss to combine.
  • Chill for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best taste, use fresh broccoli florets and feel free to mix in other ingredients like cheese or seeds for added flavor.
