Ingredients
  

Lobster and Butter

  • 2 pieces lobster tails Fresh or fully thawed if frozen
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to broil.
  • If frozen, thaw the lobster tails in the refrigerator overnight or under cold running water.
  • Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the shell down the center to butterfly the tails.

Cooking

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and lemon juice.
  • Season the lobster meat with salt and pepper, then brush with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with the remaining garlic butter.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best flavor, paired with a simple salad, garlic bread, or steamed vegetables. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven.
