  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Always make sure everything is within reach to keep cooking stress-free.

Season the Chicken

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and your secret Italian seasoning blend.

Heat Things Up

  • In a skillet, heat up a splash of olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Pan-Searing the Chicken

  • Carefully place the seasoned chicken breasts into the hot skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Melty Cheese Time

  • In the last few minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken and cover the skillet with a lid to help it melt.

Prepare the Topping

  • While the chicken is cooking, mix together the diced sun-ripened tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, and balsamic glaze in a bowl.
