  • 1 head Cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice your head of cabbage into thick steaks, about an inch thick.
  • Take your baking sheet and lay out the cabbage steaks. Brush both sides with olive oil.
  • Season with salt and pepper to your liking.

Cooking

  • Place the cabbage steaks in your preheated oven and roast for about 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • If desired, add optional toppings like garlic powder or cheese during the last few minutes of roasting.
  • Once done, let the cabbage steaks cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy texture, place the steaks cut-side down on the baking sheet. You can also try different seasonings like paprika or chili powder. Leftovers can be reheated in the oven.
