Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the chopped onions until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, combine the Bisquick, milk, and eggs, stirring until smooth.
  • Stir in the cooked beef mixture, crumbled bacon, and both types of cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown and firm.
  • Let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Consider adding fresh herbs like parsley or chives for extra flavor and color. You can pre-bake the crust for 5-10 minutes for a crispier result. If you have picky eaters, finely chop veggies like zucchini or bell peppers and mix them into the ground beef.
