  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon Cook the bacon until crispy.
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, cooked bacon, minced garlic, cream cheese, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cut the top of the bread loaf in a circular pattern, creating a 'wreath' shape, and remove some of the insides to make room for the stuffing.
  • Fill the hollowed bread with the cheese and bacon mixture.
  • Brush the outside of the bread with melted butter.
  • Wrap the 'wreath' in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Serve warm, pulling apart pieces of the cheesy bacon stuffed bread.

Notes

For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture if you like a little heat. Experiment with different cheeses, like cheddar or gouda, for a unique twist. Make sure to watch the bread closely while baking to avoid over-browning.
