  • 1 cup Broccoli Florets Fresh or frozen can be used.
  • 1 cup White Rice Regular or long-grain white rice works well.
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth Adds moisture and flavor.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese For topping at the end.
  • 1 cup Cream of Chicken Soup Brings creaminess to the dish.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For sautéing.
  • 1/2 unit Onion, diced For added flavor.
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced Aromatic base.
  • Salt and Pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients to prepare for cooking.
  • Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion turns translucent.
  • Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the white rice and pour chicken broth into the skillet. Bring to a boil.
  • Add the cream of chicken soup and stir to combine.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 15 minutes.
  • Add the broccoli florets into the mixture, cover, and steam for about 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover again for a minute until melted.
  • Stir everything together before serving and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop.
