  • 32 ounces Potato dumplings (frozen) The heart of the casserole.
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce Creamy sauce that binds everything together; homemade is recommended.
  • 1 bunch Green onions Adds freshness and visual appeal.
  • 8 ounces Bacon Use regular or turkey bacon.
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese Provides stretchy, gooey texture.
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese For extra cheesy goodness on top.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large baking dish, layer half of the frozen potato dumplings to cover the bottom snugly.
  • Pour some alfredo sauce over the dumplings, spreading it out evenly.
  • Sprinkle half of the crumbled bacon over the sauce.
  • Add half of the chopped green onions and generous amounts of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • Repeat the layering: remaining dumplings, more alfredo sauce, the rest of the bacon, green onions, and both shredded cheeses.

Baking

  • Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serving

  • Scoop out generous portions and enjoy with your loved ones.

Notes

For a crispier topping, broil for a couple of minutes after baking. Substitute low-fat cheese or whole-grain dumplings to lighten it up.
