Instructions
 

Cooking Noodles

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing Chicken

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter and cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side. Let them rest before slicing.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring as it cooks.
  • Incorporate the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the cheese has melted completely.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust salt and pepper as needed.

Combining

  • Add the cooked fettuccine noodles to the sauce and toss gently to coat.
  • Slice the rested chicken breasts and lay them atop the pasta.
  • Finish with fresh herbs and extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Adding fresh herbs like basil or parsley as a garnish enhances both appearance and flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container; reheat gently with a splash of milk or cream.
