Ingredients
  

For the chicken and sauce

  • 1 lb chicken breast Cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp butter Melted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 15 oz Alfredo sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese For topping

For the tortellini and bacon

  • 19 oz frozen tortellini Cook according to package directions
  • 6 pieces bacon Cooked until crispy, chopped

For garnish

  • Dried parsley As desired

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook bacon in a pan until crispy and chop it into small pieces.
  • Start a pot of water boiling for the tortellini.
  • Cut chicken breast into small cubes.

Cooking

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken cubes to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  • Continue cooking the chicken until it is cooked through and golden brown.
  • While the chicken is cooking, cook the tortellini according to the package directions.
  • Once the chicken is done, stir in the minced garlic and then remove the skillet from heat.
  • Add the cooked tortellini and Alfredo sauce to the skillet and stir well.
  • Top the mixture with shredded mozzarella cheese and the chopped bacon.
  • Cover and let it sit until the cheese melts, or broil in the oven for a few minutes for extra gooeyness.

Serving

  • Serve this dish warm right from the skillet. You can place it on a large serving platter or dish it out into individual bowls.
  • Pair it with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 to 4 days. If freezing, use a freezer-proof container. Reheat with a bit of milk or water to loosen the sauce. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or broccoli for extra nutrients and flavor. Adjust seasonings to your taste.
