Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Dice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and set aside. Chop the broccoli into florets, slice the onion, mince the garlic, and grate the ginger.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  • Once the oil is shimmering, add the diced chicken. Cook without stirring for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  • Add the sliced onion and broccoli. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until broccoli is tender but crunchy.
  • Incorporate minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  • Mix soy sauce and honey in a small bowl.
  • Pour the soy sauce mixture over the chicken and veggies, stirring well and cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper according to preference.
  • Serve over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes with garlic and ginger. Feel free to include other veggies like bell peppers or snap peas. Always serve hot for the best experience.
