  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls) This is the magical base that brings everything together.
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded You can use leftover chicken, rotisserie chicken, or fresh chicken breasts.
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled Adds an irresistible flavor and texture.
  • to taste ranch dressing Use store-bought or homemade.
  • optional cheddar cheese Shredded cheddar for a cheesy twist.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Shred the cooked chicken and crumble the bacon.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and ranch dressing. Mix until everything is nicely coated.
  • Unroll the crescent dough on a clean, flat surface.
  • Take a triangle of dough, place a spoonful of the chicken and bacon mixture at the wide end, optionally add cheese, then roll the dough tightly around the filling and tuck the pointed end underneath.
  • Arrange the rolled creations on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each roll.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm, with extra ranch for dipping if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter before baking. You can also add chopped green onions or herbs for extra flavor. Keep extra ranch for dipping; it's essential!
