Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes each side.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.

Baking

  • Top each chicken breast with sliced mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil leaves.

  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes
