Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers

Aromatics and Sauces

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Cooking Noodles

  • Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Stir-Frying

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add sliced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper, and stir-fry until cooked through.
  • Add in shredded carrots, bell peppers, and bean sprouts, stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing well to combine.
  • Add the cooked chow mein noodles and toss everything together until heated through.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

Adjust the amounts of vegetables according to your taste. For added heat, add red pepper flakes or hot sauce. Store leftover Chicken Chow Mein in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
