  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts Boneless, skinless is preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or Butter Butter adds richness.
  • 1 cup Fresh Spinach Fresh is recommended for flavor.
  • 1 Shallots Adds a gentle sweetness.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1/2 cup White Wine For depth of flavor.
  • 1 cup Cream For the sauce.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated.
  • 1/2 cup Flour For breading the chicken.
  • to taste pinches Salt & Pepper Essential seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, then lightly coat them in flour.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet once browned and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté shallots and garlic until softened.
  • Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  • Pour in the white wine and allow it to reduce slightly.
  • Stir in the cream and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • Serve hot with that rich sauce poured over the chicken.

Notes

For extra crispy chicken skin, consider broiling for the last few minutes of cooking. Let the dish sit for a few minutes after cooking for the flavors to meld beautifully.
