Preparation

  • Preheat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.
  • Dip into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing firmly to adhere.

Cooking

  • Fry chicken in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying. You can test it by dropping a small piece of bread into the oil; if it bubbles and browns, it’s ready. Consider using spices like paprika or garlic powder for added flavor.
